About that birth certificate, Mr. Obama?
Leo Donofrio says in today’s post at Natural Born Citizen, ( here) that Hawaii’s Department of Health has confirmed that they do have a record of Obama’s birth dated August 1961.
So I ask again: Mr. Obama, why is it so difficult to produce the birth certificate that you claim proves your eligibility to be president? Unless the birth certificate in Hawaii provides information that disqualifies you for the presidency, there is no reason to keep it secret is there? Even if the bc shows that someone other than Obama Sr. is your father, so what? A little embarrassing maybe, but then you are still eligible to be president. If the birth certificate proves that your were born in Hawaii, that would at least give credence to your statements that you were born in Hawaii. Obviously, if the birth certificate states that you were, in fact, born in Kenya, that might be a bigger embarrassment.
On the other hand, if, as we assume, that Obama Sr. is your father, certainly then we might be entitled to an explanation of the dual citizenship you were granted at birth and whether that issue was ever resolved. Are you still a British Subject, a Kenyan citizen, an Indonesian citizen?
See, no matter how I look at it, there are so many explanations for your secrecy that the issue can’t go away. Maybe for some unfathomable reason you like the distraction the issue provides , but a lot of citizens, naturalized and natural-born, are really disturbed by your lack of “transparency” on the issue.
I understand that you have difficulty making decisions about really tough issues, but, come on, how hard can this one be?

Obama has produced the official birth certificate of Hawaii. The original birth certificate is not sent out anymore. (http://www.starbulletin.com/columnists/kokualine/20090606_kokua_line.html).
The Wall Street Journal commented: ‘Obama has already provided a legal birth certificate demonstrating that he was born in Hawaii. No one has produced any serious evidence to the contrary. Absent such evidence, it is unreasonable to deny that Obama has met the burden of proof. We know that he was born in Honolulu as surely as we know that Bill Clinton was born in Hope, Ark., or George W. Bush in New Haven, Conn.”
You just gave the standard reply. That phony colb was not the bc. Hawaii has been equivocating about even having a bc; why not just admit it? I can produce my bc; can you? Of course you can; so could he if he had to get a driver’s license or a passport not issued by the government. So where is the real bc and why doesn’t he show it to a lawyer who would like to inspect it and have to admit it was real; not on line though cause we all know how to photoshop.

I missed the mark in my response to you earlier tonight. It’s more like we know McCain was born in Panama and may hold dual citizenship. Obama probably was born in Hawaii, but Barack Sr. was not a U.S. citizen and that means Obama Jr. held dual citizenship at birth and that is what makes him ineligible to be president. Unless of course his bc shows that his father is not Obama Sr. in which case he might still be eligible. There are enough questions to at least warrant a serious attempt to discover the truth.
That is not a birth certificate and holds zero proof he is a natural born citizen. Aside from the fact that numerous experts have called the COLB (certification of live birth) a forgery, he could have gotten a HI birth certificate even if he isn’t a natural born citizen because there were 4 different ways one could obtain a Hawaii birth certificate back during the time Obama was born. In fact, Obama’s sister, Maya Soetoro, who was born in Indonesia has a certification of live birth.

Let us focus on the important issue, one that obama himself thought was so important that he had it put on his own campaign website, FactCheck.org.
It goes like this:
“The fact is barack obama was born in the state of Hawaii in 1961, a NATIVE citizen of the United States of America.”
It goes on to state:
“When barack obama jr. was born on Aug. 4 1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kindom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was goverened by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act goverened the status of Obama Sr’s children.”
“Since sen. obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his KENYAN CITIZENSHIP automatically expired on Aug. 4, 1982.”
He had DUAL CITIZENSHIP at birth, and until 1982.
obama is not a “NATURAL BORN” CITIZEN of the United States. Who cares where he was born?
obama has admitted that not only was his father a foreign national, but that he himself was a British Subject at birth. A British Subject is a foreign national and how can a FOREIGN NATIONAL be a “Natural Born Citizen” as required by the United States Constitution?
The Founders of our country strove to prevent exactly this situation from happening.
